When does Meet First open?
Wednesday, November 25, 2026, in Montréal. The first dates happen Thursday, November 26, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Why pre-register?
So there is always someone free when you are. After signing up, confirm your address with the “I confirm” email: that is what gives you your place in line. Access then opens in balanced waves, in order of confirmation.
What do I get for inviting friends?
Every friend who signs up with your link gives you 10 points once their account is verified in the app, then 50 points at their first date, with no limit. What your points will get you will be announced in the app. Points have no cash value, and points earned through fake accounts are cancelled. Conditions: your friend is 18 or older and signs up with their own email (and their own mobile number, if they give one); one sign-up per person. Meet First never writes to the people you send your link to.
Is it free?
Yes. Sign-up and the app are free. Paid premium features may be added later.
Why only one suggestion at a time?
It is a healthier way to meet people. Meet First removes the “endless catalogue” effect of today’s apps and gives every new connection a real chance.
Really no chat?
None. The app suggests the person, the place and the time. You get a real first impression, not a surprise that differs from what you imagined while texting.
Who can join?
Anyone 18 or older. Every member verifies their phone number, and our team verifies their profile before their first meeting.
What do you do with my information?
We use it to manage pre-registrations and tell you when you are in. Our database is hosted in Canada (Montréal). It is never sold and never used for advertising. See the privacy policy.
